Excendia is a software company that develops and sells virtual assistant and unified communications solutions for service providers, enterprises and professionals. Its products have been specifically developed to help improve the productivity and safety of mobile business people while enhancing customer service. Excendia’s products are delivered to customers as hosted services or in-premise enterprise solutions through a network of service providers around the world. The cloud-based software architecture makes Excendia easily accessible worldwide.
The Excendia product suite is made of interoperable applications integrating speech, unified communications, intelligent call filtering, IP telephony and other advanced technologies previously available only to very large corporations.

History
Excendia was spun-off from Bell Canada in 2001 to focus on designing and building the next generation voice communications and mobility solutions for carriers and large enterprises.
Achievements and Awards
The Excendia product has already received recognition and a few prestigious industry awards including BroadSoft's Appi Award in October 2009 for being the First place winner in the Business Communications category. The new 2010 version is miles ahead of any product in its class.
